A Short Story About A Farm Worker.
Ways to Live Life Without Regrets. Determining your own worth.
I’ve programmed, I’ve coded and I’ve even designed.
Hours usually go down the imaginary drain with very little thought to why I am stilling working. No boss has told me to continue. No deadline has told me to stop.
The concept is clear. Building, and Creating, It is the job.
Consider me a farmer because stopping before the job is completed would be ludicrous and the name of the game is challenge your self.
Gaining recognition for the hard work you’ve done and put in, well actually, it doesn’t matter nor will it be worth mentioning.
Besides, what you may have already expected it to be.
As the oldest saying goes “Never put off what you can do today for tomorrow”.
I am reminding you!
The work must continue.
Even if the risk is high and the reward is little to none. Don’t fall victim to a bitter attitude.
You will gain skills, one can only hope. In which they will turn into some massive value later down the road you may have never expected.
It’s due to your own hard work and the work done in the past, you will be rewarded someday.
Happy Programming!!
P.S. If you’re a fan of Medium as much as we are, consider supporting me and the thousands of other writers on Ko-Fi.
It only costs $8 for a coffee, and it supports us writers. Thank you, Greatly.
